Open-source material is the easiest thing to collect and the hardest thing to defend. Here it is governed the same way as everything else: only approved sources, per-source credential isolation, rate limiting, data minimisation, time-limited caching, and full lineage from source to graph. Extracted data is aligned to schemas the body controls.
A finding built on a source nobody approved is a finding that cannot be used. The approved-source registry is what turns open-source collection from a risk into evidence — each field carrying which source it came from, when, and under what authority.
